Introducing The Ndlovu Foundation: Where dreams come true
The sound of a baby sobbing.
Hugged by a mother in half torn clothes.
Dry skin cacconed in scorching hot sun.
Growing up, I’ve always hated these television ads showing ‘starving children’ in Africa.
This is not to neglect the reality of what’s on the ground. Unfortunately, that is the case in some areas.
But growing up, I despised seeing such things. First, it often gave a one-sided perception of the motherland. And secondly, I personally hate seeing people in poverty.
I always told myself, “When I make enough money, I’ll find a way to help.”
However, “He who watches the wind will fail to sow,”
And so the time to make a change is now…
At Maison Amahle, we believe in Lifting Others As We Rise.
Our legacy isn’t just about crafting impeccable timepieces—it’s about creating lasting impact. True luxury isn’t measured by exclusivity but by the lives it touches.
It is on this conviction that the Ndlovu Foundation is built.
We could solve a zillion problems on earth, but we settled on one.
The people.
Empowering the women and youth of the future.
According to Trade Economics, the Unemployment Rate in Botswana has reached an all-time high of 27%. Staggeringly, 44% of that consists of the youth. Young Batswana are more educated, less employed.
The Foundation aims to tackle unemployment in Botswana and Africa at large by uplifting and empowering kreativve women through horology.
We are a non-profit initiative that envisions a world free from economic hardship. We are on a mission to create innovative, sustainable programs for kreativve talent. Bridging the worlds of visionary watchmakers and global contemporary artists—especially women in emerging markets—empowering the next generation to shape luxury with purpose.

Operation 100
To empower 100 women in luxury watchmaking by December 31, 2030.
We are clear about what we stand for. Our goal is to provide education, mentorship, and resources to help 100 women from underrepresented backgrounds gain skills and opportunities within the luxury watchmaking industry, empowering them to contribute to and lead in this craft by the end of 2030.
Our vision with the foundation is precisely to develop watchmaking skillsets on the African continent. To be a springboard for kreativve minds to master the art of fine watchmaking and craftsmanship.
The Ndlovu Foundation Scholarship Program offers selected individuals aged 35 and under from underrepresented backgrounds a funded opportunity to participate in exclusive programs and academies dedicated to creativity, craftsmanship, and leadership in the luxury industry.
Applications are scheduled to open in Q1 of 2026.
Our aim is to elevate African craftsmanship, empower future generations, and create meaningful connections between culture and the world of luxury watchmaking.
Working across Switzerland and Botswana, the Foundation is built on a spirit of collaboration and generosity. A portion of profits—5% from Maison Amahle—is dedicated to fueling our vision, alongside the support of our valued partners.
We’re also creating a unique way to give back through custom, in-house limited-edition art pieces, allowing collectors to own something truly special while supporting a cause that transforms lives.
This is more than philanthropy. It’s about shaping the future of artisanship, opening doors for young talent, and crafting a legacy that inspires future generations.
